PRAYING FOR THE GULF COAST

Please continue to pray for the state of Texas and Louisiana during this very critical time, as Hurricane Harvey has brought historic rainfall and flooding, affecting a multitude of families along the Gulf Coast region. Let's keep passionately praying for the floodwaters to cease, for the safety of lives, and for rescue efforts underway even now!

Psalm 86:3-5 -- Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long. Rejoice the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

Why are Confederate monuments and flags being torn down from New Orleans, St. Louis, Gainesville, FL., and Charlottesville to Durham, N.C.?

President Trump pointed out that some of those in attendance in Charlotte were not aligned with hate groups and only protesting the removal of Confederate symbols; while others were very hateful and violent counter-protesters.

Trump told the truth that the battle was between Confederate Flag people sprinkled with Nazi flags and the Antifa that are Communists and anarchists! Antifa is as great a danger as the Nazis and maybe even more because they have the backing of the hard Left. Antifa is a far-left political movement of autonomous anti-fascist groups in the United States having roots back to Nazi-Germany. The Antifa term is loosely used with anti-racism, anti-sexism and anti-captialism.

The Left's impulse to tear down Confederate history is like Mao's cultural revolution. These tactics are well known in history. You start by tearing down statues and burning books, and eventually you go after people. Read Blog.....

Pray for law and order to be restored in America. This is a battle for America's constitutional and biblical values (2 Thessalonians 2:7). Pray for spiritual awakening and revival.

TURNING AMERICA BACK TO GOD

Religious persecution thrives despite the 'church-friendly' Trump administration and Congress.

The growing attacks against Christians have become alarming – even non-Christians who hold traditional values – by society and federal judges. One has to wonder how long the open window under the "church-friendly" Trump administration will last. Society's increased hostility against Christian values has caused many spiritual leaders to believe the current "favor" with government leaders is only for a season (John 9:4). Many fear the current hateful climate could fuel a civil war of hate.

Redefining gender and the right to abort babies are attacking biblical principles everywhere. When a state seizes totalitarian power, it does not benefit the family, the Christian, or anyone who holds moral, traditional values.

Canada recently enacted a piece of legislation called Bill 89. Its net effect is that the Canadian government will be empowered to remove children from the homes of parents who do not agree that their small child may be "transgender." As if a small child even knows what "gender" means, much less can identify his or her own internal gender fluidity!

In the United Kingdom, Tim Farron, the leader of the Liberal Democrats had to resign his position stating, "To be a political leader... and to live as a committed Christian, to hold faithfully to the Bible's teaching, has felt impossible for me." Liberal Democrat means the opposite in the UK than it does here! 

WILL AMERICA SEE JUDGMENT OR REVIVAL?

Only the praying Church can make an appeal to Heaven and call down a fiery revival with divine intervention.  Read full blog
